So you want to know how to avoid a Warning or ban on Torrent Comments?

Introduction

Comments are a feature of Torrents, and are intended for people to share constructive criticism or feedback regarding the release in question. The provider of the release is notified about each comment, so that they can take necessary action to remediate or correct any problems the release might have.

Comments are also community-driven, meaning that people can contribute to the release by example, providing a description of the release, or perhaps screenshot previews of the release.

It is not meant for:

  • Showing gratitude (thanks) - that's what the “Thank You” button is for.
  • Spam
  • Voicing your opinion about the upload. For example, if you agree with the contents of the upload.

Please keep in mind that ExYuSubs offers content to its members. It's up to you wether you download a torrent or not. ExYuSubs does not take sides.

Guidelines

  • Be polite, trying to look like a badass just makes you look like an idiot.
  • Don't flame. Go to 4chan for that.
  • If you have something constructive to say about the quality of a release state your case politely.
  • Screenshots are always welcome.
  • Don't fuel an already lit fire. You may not have caused it but your participation in it can result in a warning as well.
  • If you think to yourself “Does my comment add value to this release”, and the answer is no, then you probably should not be posting it.
