Today we have updated ExYu Subs with a lot of bugfixes and two new functions: a proper request system and achievements! In this post we will tell you how these work.

==== How will the system work? ====

If are looking for a release that isn't on the site yet, you can now request it via our new request system. All you need is the proper amount of points to make the request (this is based on your user class) and some basic information as to what you are requesting. Once the request has been made, any other member with Power User class or above can fill your request.  The torrent used to fill the request will not be visible until the request is approved or declined. Points will only be transferred after approval and will be deducted from the requestees account and added to the account of the member who uploaded the torrent.

A lot of users tend to 'forget' to approve their requests. For operational purposes we have since removed the manual approval for TV shows and Movie requests. They will be filled on upload. Be aware that requests which are not properly filled will still get reported and we will take appropriate action if users continue to have their uploaded torrents rejected as a fill.
==== Who can make a request? ====
Any member can make a request, as long as they have the required points for it.

==== Will my requests be limited like they were in the forums? ====

No, you can make as many requests as you have points.

==== What will a request cost? ====

==== Who can fill a request? ====
Any member that has Power User class or above. Unlike before you do not need to be an Uploader on ExYu Subs to be able to fill requests.

==== So how do I fill a request? ====
You can browse requests and see if there are any that you are able to fill, either with a torrent already on ExYu Subs or by uploading a whole new torrent. You can use our upload form directly from the request page, if you want to actually upload a new torrent you can use [[fillrequest|our Wiki article about it]] for more guidance.
==== What happens after a torrent has been uploaded and is pending review? ====

The requester will get a notification and can now review the pending torrent. The request will be locked for other users who want to fill it. If the requester approves it, the torrent will be made visible and the points will be transferred from the requester to the uploader of the torrent. The request will then be marked as filled. If the requester disapproves the pending torrent, it will be deleted and the request will be unlocked and marked as open once again.

==== How will you ensure quality if any member can now upload a torrent to fill a request? ====
The torrent will not be visible until it has been approved by either the requester of a member of staff. Once approved the uploaded torrent will be visible on the main page. All torrents uploaded by a member other than Uploaders will be listed for review by our staff in any case, so we can ensure quality and safety of all torrents.
Requests for applications however, will only be visible once they have been reviewed by staff as these present a greater risk for malware than other torrents.

==== What happens if I request a reseed of an existing torrent? ====
Your request will be most likely be accepted as filled, as the torrent is already on the site. You will lose your points. Don't request reseeds.

==== How will you deal with abuse? ====
We will be actively monitoring requests and there are some back-end functions to aid us with that. Any members who are found abusing the system in any way will have their rights to make and/or fill requests revoked. In extreme cases we will deal with the situation accordingly.
