Common mistakes
Most users that join do not read the wiki dive in and just download what they want. That might be a great idea on a public tracker, but not on private trackers like ExYuSubs.
- Do not sort your torrents by leechers: part seeders will also show as leechers (but aren't).
- Do not download packs that are not freeleech, see no. 1.
- Do not start your career with unpopular stuff unless you know what you're doing.
Also:
- Do use our outside seeding guides (see below).
- Do ask for help if you have questions.
- Do take your time to pick your first torrents.
My torrents aren't seeding
You will only upload when someone else on ExYuSubs wants to download that very same torrent. We have a finite userbase, and not many people will want “Some.nice.Movie.2023”. If you grab something nobody else wants your ratio will tank and eventually you will be warned. If you are reading this before your ratio is gone, then use our guides below to quickly get a bit of a buffer and before long you will be able to download what you really want.
Help, I've tanked my ratio anyway
Once your ratio is gone, there are no quick solutions. You will need to put in some effort to fix what you've done. Your options in a nutshell:
- Outside Seeding (Big tip: check out our reseed requests to find content to easily reseed)
- Get a seedbox.
- You can donate to get temporary immunity to the warning system. This will NOT grant you free download perks.
