Offenses that could lead to a ban

• Selling anything (services, products, etc), directly or indirectly, is strictly forbidden.
• Cheating (for example: altering your stats in any way, or misleading the tracker).
• Trading/selling/buying invites → More information here.
• Being disrespectful or insulting towards staff.
• Bad ratio (if after the warning period haven't been able to fix it) → More information here.
• Duplicate or Multiple accounts. Users are only permitted 1 account at TL (ever), making additional accounts will result in you losing all of them.
• Account sharing. Sharing your account with people outside of your own household is forbidden → More information here.
• Uploading our torrent files onto other trackers.
• Inviting cheaters → More information here.
• Abusing any or our systems, for example: achievements, reporting torrents or comments.

Offenses that may lead to a warning

• Hit and run: downloading releases and then not seeding them back for the required time or ratio for your user class → More information here.
• Abusing the Achievements system. Spamming Thank you or Comments to gain achievements faster is ill advised → More information here.
• Abusing the Report Torrent feature when there is nothing wrong with the release. This is to be used only when the release has something wrong with it.
• Abusing the Report Comments feature. This is to be used only when a user comment on torrents violates our rules for torrent comments.
• Bad ratio (user gets warned if ratio drops below 0.5, then has 7 days to fix it) → More information here.
• Insulting or abusive remarks towards other members on forums/torrent comments/irc or other systems on TL.
• Inviting a cheater (Multiple offenses may lead to a ban) → More information here
• Downloading the same release multiple times. Incidentally not a problem, if you're going to do it more often be sure to inform staff. → More information here.
• Any links on forums forwarding to cracks/porn/other trackers/abusive content.
• Any links on torrent comments - torrent comments should not include any kind of links, they are there to comment on the release itself.
• Inviting strangers - you should only invite people you know. You will put your own account at risk if your invitees cheat → More information here.

Rules for commenting

• No “first comment” comments.
• No bitching. If you don't like something just don't download it.
• Don't spam the comment section with repeated comments.
• Don't spam the comment section just to get an achievement.
• No links.

When you join the TorrentLeech IRC server you automatically agree to abide by the rules listed below. Not following the rules will lead to actions like a warning, removing IRC privileges or disabling an account.

• No spam!
• Links are ok but not to exploitative or malicious sites. Be aware that any link you post must be labelled as NSFW (not safe for work) if it is unsuitable for users in a workplace. Also note that you alone are responsible for any link you post.
• No selling services/goods/invites.
• Do not ask for invites to TorrentLeech or any other sites.
• Do not be abusive to any other user, treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.
• Do not argue with staff, they are only helping enforce the rules for everyones benefit.
• No languages other than English.
• Do not PM anyone, particularly staff, without obtaining prior permission first.
• Bots go into the channel #tlannounces. Joining them into any other channel will get them removed from the server.
